The material. Tanboocel® Bamboo Viscose, blended with cotton and woven into an open-weave muslin — soft against a newborn’s cheek, and it softens further with more washes and use. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Tanboocel® is also the cleaner way to make bamboo viscose: a closed-loop process recovers most of the water and solvent instead of sending it downstream.

Why the terry back. Single-layer muslin soaks through to your shoulder, which defeats the point. The terry cloth back absorbs without bleeding through.

Materials & Care

Irresistibly soft, airy, and breathable, our muslin is called Tanboocel. It's made from bamboo tree pulp through a manufacturing process that uses 99% less water than conventional cotton.
