Material. TENCEL™ Lyocell with spandex for movement. Wood-pulp fiber from Lenzing, closed-loop production, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Pulls moisture off skin faster than cotton and smoother than bamboo rayon — which is what you want at 3 a.m. on a humid summer night when the baby is rolling between damp pajama and bare-leg sleep. The fiber holds its hand and surface through repeated washing better than cotton or bamboo rayon, which matters because the summer set goes through the wash more often than any other piece in the rotation.

The print. Mint-seafoam green ground with smiling-face lemons, scattered blueberries, lemon slices, and drinking straws.

Construction. Short-sleeve crewneck top with elastic-waist shorts. Tagless inside the neck. Flat seams that don't catch the skin during sleep. Cuffed sleeves and short legs that sit just above the knee. Designed to fit through at least one growth phase — sized with a little extra length so the legs don't ride up by month two.

When to choose short-sleeve. Above 75°F nursery overnight, the short-sleeve set is the right weight either under a 0.5 TOG muslin sleep bag or alone if the toddler is past sleep-sack age and the room is genuinely warm. Below 75°F, the long-sleeve set is the better pairing.
