Teething Mitt - Lion

Two months old, desperate to chew, and no grip yet to hold anything. The mitt straps the teether to the hand for them.

The Lion teething mitten is a one-piece molded silicone mitt with a textured teether across the back of the hand — built for the pre-grip window, when a baby wants to chew but can't yet hold a teether on their own.

What it does. Before the pincer grip arrives, a loose teether just gets dropped. The mitt keeps it on the hand, so the baby can bring it to their gums on their own — and the textured silicone gives them a firm surface to work.

Material & safety. One-piece molded food-grade silicone with an adjustable silicone strap. Free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead, and cadmium. CPSC and CPSIA tested.

When to remove. The mitt is for awake, supervised time, not for sleep. Take it off for naps and overnight.

How to use it. Strap it on, adjust to fit, supervise. Wipe the silicone clean after each session.

Who it's for. Roughly 2 to 6 months — the pre-grip stretch. Once a baby can reliably hold a teether, they move on to a handheld one.

The design. The Lion mitt matches the handheld teethers and the bundle, so the character runs across the set.

Care. Wipe clean after each session or wash in warm soapy water; top-rack dishwasher safe. Air dry.

Why the pre-grip window is hard. A two-month-old wants to chew and has nothing to chew on — they can't hold a teether yet, so it gets dropped and the crying continues. The mitt straps the teether to the hand so they can finally do it themselves, which is as much relief for you as for them.

Fit and supervision. The silicone strap adjusts as the hand grows. Awake, supervised use only.

Designed in Canada. Loulou Lollipop launched in Vancouver in 2014 with one swaddle and one teether. Everything since has been tested on the founders' own kids before it went to production.
