Wet Dry Bag - French Breakfast

The Wet/Dry Bag in French Breakfast is a two-zippered tote with a waterproof inner lining — separate compartments for clean items and wet items, so the swimsuit that came off at the pool isn't sitting against the dry clothes you brought as a backup. Stroller-clip handle, machine-washable.

What it does. The diaper bag situation gets unmanageable around the pool/beach/swim-lesson age (typically 6-24 months). A wet bathing suit needs to come off; a dry one needs to go on; both have to live somewhere on the way home. The Wet/Dry Bag splits the bag in half — one zip compartment with a waterproof liner for the wet stuff, one zip compartment with a dry fabric liner for the clean stuff. The dividing wall is waterproof too, so the wet half doesn't leak into the dry half on the drive home.

Material and safety. Outer: 100% cotton muslin (Tanboocel viscose-bamboo blend) printed in French Breakfast. Inner waterproof liner: TPU-laminated polyester — PVC-free, food-safe, machine-washable. Zippers are non-toxic, nickel-free. Stroller-clip handle.

How to use it. Clip the bag to a stroller handle, diaper bag strap, or beach tote. Open the dry zip for clean clothes, snacks, books. Open the wet zip for damp swimsuits, used bibs, soiled clothes. The two compartments don't communicate — the wet side won't leak into the dry side even if you sit on the bag during a car ride.

Care. Machine wash cold with like colors. Air dry. Don't tumble dry (the TPU lining can warp at high heat). Wipe the inside of the wet compartment with a damp cloth between uses to extend the life of the waterproof lining.

Who it's for. Active families with babies and toddlers — beach days, pool days, swim lessons, gymnastics, daycare drop-offs with extra clothes. The bag holds a typical swimsuit + towel + change of clothes for a baby up to 24 months.

Gifting. The wet/dry bag is one of the most useful gifts for second-time parents (first-time parents often don't know they'll need one until the first beach day). Pair with a hooded towel for a complete swim-day gift.

Designed in Canada. Loulou Lollipop has been designing bath and travel products in Vancouver since 2014. The Wet/Dry Bag was added to the line in 2019 after parents on the team kept improvising with grocery bags after swim class.

Why TPU lining. TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is the alternative to PVC for waterproof bag linings. PVC contains phthalates and is harder to recycle; TPU does not contain phthalates and is more durable across machine washes.
