WHAT IT DOES
Wood teethers and silicone teethers each do something different. Untreated beech wood is firm and slightly warmer than silicone — the surface gives a baby satisfying counter-pressure without any give. Silicone deforms slightly under bite, which is what works for the deep gum pain of a tooth breaking through. The Bubble combines both into one teether that babies can flip between depending on what their gums want in the moment.

MATERIAL AND SAFETY
Beech wood ring — untreated, food-safe, naturally antibacterial. Silicone portion molded from one piece of food-grade silicone (FDA standards). Free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead, and cadmium. Beech is a hardwood used in baby toys for decades; the surface won't splinter or crack with normal use. Both materials exceed CPSC and CPSIA requirements.

HOW TO USE IT
Hand to baby. Most parents do not chill wood teethers — wood holds cold longer than silicone and can feel too sharp. The silicone portion can be chilled briefly in the fridge if you want the cool effect. Wipe wood with a damp cloth (never submerge wood in water or put it in the dishwasher). Silicone portion can be cleaned with soapy water and a soft cloth.

CARE
Wood: wipe down with damp cloth only. Never soak. Never put in dishwasher. If the wood looks dry over months of use, rub a small amount of food-safe beeswax or coconut oil into the grain to restore it. Silicone: warm soapy water, air dry. Inspect monthly.
