The Silicone Flashcards in Shapes are six cards in a coordinated set — food-grade silicone, high-contrast prints, dishwasher safe. Designed for the months when babies are starting to focus on contrast and shape, and chewable enough to survive being put in the mouth on the way to being looked at.

WHAT'S IN THE SET
Six silicone flashcards in the Shapes theme. Each card is roughly the size of a standard playing card, slightly thicker, with a high-contrast image on each side — twelve images in the set.

WHAT IT DOES
For the first six months of life, a baby's vision sharpens fastest on high-contrast patterns. Black-and-white shapes, simple line drawings, and bold geometric patterns develop visual processing more effectively than fine-detailed images. The Shapes Flashcards put six of these high-contrast images in a baby's hand in a chewable, washable format.

The benefit over paper flashcards is twofold: the silicone won't tear when babies try to eat them, and the cards are dishwasher safe so they can survive a teething stage that would destroy any other card format.

HOW TO USE IT
Show one card at a time to a baby starting around 6-8 weeks. Hold it 8-12 inches from their face. They'll lock on. Rotate cards every few days. Once baby can grab and hold, hand the cards over — they'll mouth them, drop them, hand them back. All normal.

CARE
Top-rack dishwasher safe. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth between full washes. Air dry. Inspect monthly — replace if you see any tears.

WHO IT'S FOR
Babies 6 weeks through 24 months. Newborns benefit most from the high-contrast images in the first 3 months. Older babies use the cards for shape recognition, color sorting, and pretend-play tea-party 'food.'
