Hooded Towel Set - Magical Dragons

Bath's over, the baby's slippery, and the heat is pouring off the top of their head. One swoop and they're wrapped, hood and all.

The Magical Dragons hooded towel set wraps a wet baby in one motion — a Tanboocel® Bamboo Viscose and cotton muslin outer over an ultra-absorbent cotton terry backing, with a hood that actually fits. A 32” × 32” towel with a matching 12” × 12” washcloth, soft from the first wash, and printed across the whole exterior.

What it does. A baby loses heat fastest from the head and neck, so the hood isn't decoration. At 32” × 32” it has the surface area and hood depth to wrap a newborn now and a wriggling toddler later. The muslin outer feels like a swaddle, the terry backing does the drying, and the corner hand pockets give you a grip for the post-bath rubdown. The matching washcloth handles faces and small cleanups.

Material & safety. Outer: 70% Tanboocel® Bamboo Viscose + 30% cotton, woven into an open-weave muslin. Inner: 100% cotton terry. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — tested for harmful substances at every stage of manufacturing. Tanboocel® is spun in a closed-loop process that recovers most of its water and solvent, the step generic bamboo viscose skips.

How to use it. Hold the towel open with both hands, lift the baby out of the bath into it, and fold the hood over their head. Wrap and go.

Who it's for. Newborns and up — at 32” × 32” it keeps working well past the baby-towel stage, pool days included.

The design. Magical Dragons is designed in-house by the Loulou Lollipop team — dragons mid-flight across a pale blue sky — and printed across the full outer surface: front, back, and hood.

Care. Machine wash warm with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry — the fabric softens with each wash, and keeps softening with use.

Gifting. The hooded towel solves the bath-time wrap better than a standard towel, it photographs well at a shower, and the size means it lasts past the newborn window.

Designed in Canada. Loulou Lollipop launched in Vancouver in 2014 with one swaddle and one teether. Everything since has been tested on the founders' own kids before it went to production.
