Teether Single - Pretzel Dog

Three months in, before a single tooth shows, everything is already going in the mouth — your knuckle, the crib rail, the corner of a board book. Hand them this instead.

The Pretzel Dog teether is a one-handed teether sized to fit inside a clenched fist, easy for a baby to grab and steer to the spot that aches. Textured ridges give the gums a firm surface to work against, and the shape stays put even when it's held upside down.

What it does. Most of the chewing happens before the first tooth ever shows, and it goes on for months. The ridges along the body give the gums something firm to press into; the looped shape is small enough for a developing grip to hold and rotate. They find the angle that helps and stay with it.

Material & safety. Molded from one piece of food-grade silicone (FDA standards) — a single material, with no joins or seams where bacteria collect. Free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead, and cadmium. Exceeds CPSC and CPSIA requirements for the US market, tested regularly at a government-accredited lab. Soft on new gums, firm enough to give real pressure.

How to use it. Hand it over. Wash before first use. Some parents chill it in the fridge for a few minutes first — a lot of babies prefer the cool silicone on a sore gum. Wipe with a damp cloth after each session, or wash in warm soapy water and air dry.

Who it's for. Babies 3 months and up, through the full teething stretch — usually into the second year. Light enough for a small hand to lift, easy to find at the bottom of a diaper bag, simple enough that daycare and grandparents need no instructions.

The design. The Pretzel Dog joins the rest of the teether range, each one a slightly different shape so siblings can tell theirs apart. Rounded on every side, with no edge to catch a lip or finger.

Care. Wash in warm soapy water before first use and after each session. Top-rack dishwasher safe. Air dry. Check it monthly and replace if you see a crack or tear — silicone normally lasts the whole teething period without one.

Gifting. Compact enough to add to a feeding bundle, sturdy enough to survive a daycare drop-off.
