Soft against the skin and quick to change at 3 a.m. — the under-layer that helps a baby settle faster and wake less.

The sleeper is the layer that does the quiet work. One-piece, soft enough that a baby stops noticing it — which is the whole point at 3 a.m.

It's cut from TENCEL™ Lyocell with spandex, a fabric that sits closer to skin than cotton and breathes better than fleece. The Lyocell is spun from wood pulp in a closed-loop process that recovers its water and solvents rather than wasting them. What that means in the crib: it moves heat and sweat off the body, so a baby who runs hot doesn't wake up damp, and a baby with eczema isn't fighting the fabric all night.

Why TENCEL™ here. We choose the fiber by the job. For a piece worn close to the skin and washed often, we use TENCEL™ Lyocell — it keeps its softness and shape through repeated laundering and moves heat and moisture off the skin. For our lightest warm-weather pieces — muslin swaddles, 0.5 TOG sleep bags, and crib sheets — we choose Tanboocel® Bamboo Viscose muslin, because an open muslin weave breathes best in the heat. Two premium fibers, each picked on purpose.

A two-way zip runs top to bottom, so a midnight change doesn't mean stripping the whole thing off. Newborn sizes have fold-over mitts at the cuffs to stop the scratch-face reflex. Seams are hidden against irritation, and the snug fit meets US sleepwear flammability rules (16 CFR 1615) — a close cut instead of a chemical finish.

Tested to CPSC, CPSIA, and ASTM, and made in an OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 facility. Designed in Canada. Our sleepers won a Parents Best for Baby Award, and this one lands in a soccer print grandparents tend to buy on sight — the shower gift that doesn't end up in a drawer.

Layer it under the 1.0 TOG Sleep Bag on cooler nights, or see the full sleepers & pajamas range.

Sleeper or pajama set? A sleeper keeps newborns covered and is easiest for night changes. Once a toddler is walking and kicking off their sleepers, move to a two-piece set.

Does it shrink? Minimal — wash cool, tumble low, and it holds size through the wear window.

What size do I buy? Sleepers fit close by design. Between sizes? Size up for sleep.

Part of the Big Dreams Sleep System. Sleepers and sleep bags in The Beautiful Game are built to layer together through the night — same print, one system. Complete the set with the TENCEL™ 1.0 TOG Sleep Bag.
